On this project, podiums are of mixed use on ground levels and combine housing on a concrete podium. The overall project has an efficient floor plan including residential on the upper five floors transitioning to open retail space on the ground level. Foundations will be on a geopier system. This downtown Boise apartment building is a three-story wood building featuring two-story live-work units and one story of commercial space. Some unique design features include cantilevered floor elements, store front glass and the use of steel to support multi-levels of framing.
